• Q: What can I rent from Rider Rentals?

  We offer a full range of equipment including motorcycles, ATVs, side by sides, and seasonal units like snowmobiles. Availability varies by season.

• Q: Who are your rentals for?

  A: Both recreational and commercial clients.
  Whether you are planning a trip, working in the field, or need short term equipment, we can build a rental solution that fits.

• Q: What are the requirements to rent?

  A:

  • Minimum age is 25 (unless corporately rented, the corporate client has ability to determine rider)
  • Valid driver’s license with proper class
  • Credit card for damage deposit
  • Signed rental agreement

  Commercial clients may require additional documentation.

• Q: How does pricing work?

  A:

  • Rentals are based on a 24 hour period
  • Discount available for partial day pick up night before
  • Multi day rentals receive discounted daily rates
  • Pricing varies depending on unit type
  • Custom pricing available for commercial or long term use
• Q: Is there a mileage or usage limit?

  A:
  Motorcycles include a daily kilometer allowance of 500kms, with additional usage billed per km.

  ATVs and side by sides are typically based on agreed usage or hours depending on the application.

  We will outline this clearly before your rental begins.

• Q: What is included with the rental?

  A:

  • Fully inspected and serviced unit
  • Basic safety equipment where applicable
  • Damage Waiver available for purchase
  • Helmets, riding gear not included
• Q: What is required for a deposit?

  A:

  • Deposit required at time of booking
  • Deposit starts at $1000 and goes up to $3000 depending on unit
  • Corporations with an extended credit / terms account do not have to place a deposit
  • Balance due at pickup
  • Damage deposit pre authorization required on credit card

  Bookings are not confirmed without a deposit.

• Q: What is your cancellation policy?

  A: We will apply one day of rental from your deposit if cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled pick up. If cancelled 48 hours or more in advance, all charges will be refunded with no penalty

• Q: Can I take the unit out of province or into the United States?

  A: Yes, with approval.

  Street Motorcycles may be taken into the United States including Alaska. All cross border travel must be disclosed and approved in advance.

  All other units are not permitted to cross international borders

• Q: Can multiple people operate the unit?

  A: Yes, as long as all operators:

  • Meet licensing requirements
  • Are approved and listed on the rental agreement
• Q: Do I need to clean the unit before returning it?

  A: Units should be returned in reasonable condition. A light wash is not charged out. If a unit is returned caked in mud, then excessive cleaning will be billed at $100 per hour in one hour increments.

  For street motorcycles, they must be returned in as rented out condition or a standard $125 detailing fee will apply to remove bugs, and detail bike. 

• Q: What happens if my reserved unit is unavailable?

  A: In the rare case we cannot fulfill your booking:

  • We will provide a comparable upgrade where possible
  • We may put a brand new unit in fleet to meet rental with a small additional wait time required
  • Or issue a full refund
• Q: When can I pick up and return units?

  A: Pickup and drop off times are flexible and can be scheduled with our team.

  After hours arrangements may be available.

• Q: What if my unit breaks down?

  A: At pick up you will be provided with an emeregency contact number. If you are in the Grande Prairie area we will have a replacement unit available within 3 hours or we will refund you - guaranteed.

  If you are travelling outside of our area we will work with you on the best possible remedy available. Given the geography and remote region if you are riding a motorcycle there could be down days, these costs will not be covered by Rider Rentals
